We're looking for an Interior Designer to join our team in office at our St. Louis office (Richmond Heights). GMA partners with a top ENR design-build firm to provide services including creative design, project management, ADA/code compliance, building assessment and reuse, additions and renovations, historic preservation, master planning, interior design, space planning, structural analysis and design, and construction administration.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Space planning to optimize function, safety, and aesthetics - Create detailed interior architectural floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, and details for permit and construction documents - Incorporate corresponding material specifications and schedules into architectural documents for bidding and final specifications - Maintain and update the material library; liaise with product manufacturing representatives - Collaborate with team members to prepare presentation materials, such as colored plans, elevations, 3D renderings, and finish palettes - Coordinate with construction project managers, architects, and other design disciplines throughout all project phases - Advise clients and mentor junior designers on space planning, layout, furnishings, equipment, and color coordination
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
- 8-10+ years of commercial interior design experience - Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with the ability to develop preliminary drawings into construction documents
- 3D modeling and visualization experience in Revit, Enscape, Lumion, SketchUp - General understanding of project budgets and finish material costs - Portfolio required for application showcasing various project phases (e.g., programming, schematic design, design development, CDs, finished project photos)
